Este es el espacio para elocubrarmos sobre el universo Gears of War.
Para empezar, vamos a descubrir sobre el ultimo video Clip, divulgado en vísperas del lanzamiento del juego. En él podemos percibir un Marcus Fénix sin rumbo, hasta un poco triste al constatar que el mundo en que el vive esta completamente destruido.
Vale resaltar también en el trailer la música utilizada: MAD WORLD, del grupo Tears for Fears, cantada por Gary Jules, note que ella es llena de contradicciones. Marcus al percibir la presencia eminente de los Locust, sale corriendo en DIRECCIÓN CONTRARIA, o sea, totalmente contradictorio a la acción del juego, en el que él va justamente para encarar a los enemigos.
¿Será aquello un sueño de Marcus, o un momento de reflexión y debilidad?

Ok, ok, ellos no están con remeras con el símbolo de GOW, eso fue montado – y muy mal montado – por mi, ;-)
Bueno, pero quien piensa que música sobre Gears of War son siempre así, calmas con piano de fondo, se equivoca rotundamente, pues lo que ustedes escucharán ahora es una de las pesadas de Megadeth intitulada: Gears of War (¡dahhhhh!).
Vale recordar que la banda fue elegida para hacer la divulgación del juego en sus shows en los Estados Unidos. ¿Fue o no fue una buena elección?

Todo bien que el juego es buenísimo, y que el símbolo del juego (engranajes envolviendo una calavera) es bárbaro, pero hay gente que exagero y ya está haciendo tatuajes con tal símbolo. ¿Está dudando? Mira!!!!
¿Pensaron que tatuajes es algo muy radical para hacer? Muy bien, entonces ¿Qué tal estos COG TAG’s? ¿Quién sabe con ellos no se sientan un miembro del Delta Squad?
“Eh, Marcus ¿Dónde fue para mi COG TAG?”
¿Tu carroza está ultrapasada? ¿Tu moto no “causa respeto” donde llegas y sólo pasas vergüenza con las gatas? Ora ora ora muchacho, ¡Acaba ahora mismo con esos problemas colocando un verdadero adhesivo “matador” en tu vehiculo!
¿Son o no son fantásticos estos adhesivos?
Si tu crees que puedes escaparte de los pertrechos Gears of War, estás redondamente equivocado mi hermano, pues ahora, además de tatoo, cog tag y adhesivos, tu podrás tener una Face plate, además de un bolso, unos tiradores (suspensor) y un chandal (tabardo) “de gueto” para salir por ahí imaginando que eres un Locust.
